Back-to-School Bash
LCC holds an annual event to prepare all students to head back to school feeling confident and ready to learn! With the support of many community partners, we provide bookbags, shoes and haircuts for children throughout Miami County and the surrounding area.
We are excited to hold this year’s Back-to-School Bash on August 16th, at the Lincoln Community Center. At the event, hundreds will pick up backpacks full of school supplies, got a few hundred get haircuts, new shoes, play carnival games, enjoy a meal, and visit the tables of dozens of our local businesses and providers that offer services to our families. This fundraiser also allows us to provide tutoring and academic support to students all year long. In 2025-2026 we held 677 one on one tutoring sessions in reading with our reading tutors! We are so grateful to our community supporters.
